Afterwards it had several tasks as Royal Navy transport, mine hunter and for the meteorological institute. Finally it was a training ship for the Japan coast guard, with the name PL-106 Kojima. After that it was an exhibition place in Chiba City. Scrapped in 1998. In this long career it was totally reconstructed.
