  TextEN  Tsi Yuen was the first protected cruiser built in Germany. Tsi Yuen was used by the Chinese Navy in the battles of Pungdo, Yalu and Weihawei in the first Japanese-Sino War- She was captured by Japan and served as Saien in the IJN. She sank b a mine hit in Port Arthur on 30.Nov. 1904.
